Overview
The work slightly varies throughout the year depending on the needs of the farm. Operating and maintaining tractors and other farm equipment is the primary responsibility. You’ll follow procedures, stay organized, and help keep machinery and systems running smoothly.

Operating farm tractors and equipment
Working with John Deere Gen 4 and 5 display systems
Repair and maintain equipment
Ensure farm machinery and equipment are kept clean, tidy, and in good working condition when not in operation.
All aspects of the potato harvest
Other duties as assigned.

Keeping equipment and work areas organized
Organizing, labeling, and reordering repair and maintenance parts
Documenting your work so others can follow up
Other duties as assigned, including equipment operation, general labor, and mechanical repair
Requirments
Requirments
Prior experience driving tractors
Reliable and honest
Valid driver’s license (you’ll drive company vehicles between fields)
Able to work outdoors in Eastern Washington weather—hot summers (100°+), cold winters, wind, dust
Able to lift 50 lbs and climb on equipment
Comfortable reading instructions and learning computer systems
Pre-employment driving record abstract and Pre-employment drug screening

November- February: Approximately 45 hours/week
March-September: 50+ hours/week, usually 4-6 days (may include Saturday and/or Sunday)
Harvest (September -October): 7 days/week, 60–90 hours for 7–10 weeks

$18 - $21 an hour
